Update – Sept 16, 2026 – EquiTrack Tokens Being Listed
HootDex is expanding again and this time we’re bringing synthetic equity exposure directly into the decentralized exchange. EquiTrack Tokens, the onchain synthetic representations of major global equities and ETF benchmarks, are officially rolling out on HootDex.
Update – Aug 11, 2026 – System Stress Test Update
During a recent system stress test, a glitch was identified in the Order Book Depth for a specific DBT token, which resulted in phantom data appearing within the test environment. It is important to note that this data did not originate from the Central Limit Order Book, the trading systems, or any live market feeds. The purpose of these periodic stress tests is to expose any anomalies or vulnerabilities before they can affect real‑time operations, ensuring that our members remain fully protected. This particular issue has already been isolated and addressed, and further testing continues to reinforce the stability and reliability of the entire ecosystem.
Update – Aug 10, 2026
MetaMask onboarding is now fully integrated into the Pecu Wallet, providing a simple and secure way for users to acquire PECU in order to swap for a range of Pecu Novus‑based assets on HootDex. This enhancement creates a frictionless entry point into the ecosystem and strengthens institutional scalability through seamless use of Pecu Wallet Access Keys. HootDex becomes easier to access, easier to trust, and easier to scale globally, with access keys working smoothly across connected trading platforms. Institutions can also integrate multiple keys within a single system, enabling convenient multi‑wallet trading.
Update – July 23, 2026
Following the Pecu Novus 3.0 Themis upgrades that has been rolling out in phases, which added ERC-20/EVM compliance on a Pecu Novus on a protocol level recently, there was a process of having all tokens created on the blockchain to be compliant as well, we are happy to say that as of today all tokens that have been minted via HootDex, that are trading on HootDex, are all ERC-20 compliant. This allows for portability across ERC-20 platforms that allow it.
Tokens Added – July 22, 2026
A series of yield bearing XMG Prime Yield Tokens "XPYT" and XMG Apex Yield Tokens "XAYT" have been added to HootDex for price discovery, they will be available on an OTC basis initially once all are priced out and made available for broader acquisition in the near future.
July 21, 2026 – HootDex FIX API
Upgrades to the HootDex FIX API will show the consumption of data from the Pecu Novus blockchain, treasuries, smart contact data and other important information for institutions and aggregators.
HootDex Update – 9 July 2026
HootDex is rolling out an upgrade to its treasury reporting system, ensuring every token on the platform displays transparent, on‑chain collateral backing through the Pecu Novus digital asset treasury. These improvements will appear across HootDex throughout the week as part of our commitment to clearer, verifiable token data.
XMG Prime & Apex Yield Tokens Being Added to HootDex (June 6, 2026)
A series of XMG Apex Yield Tokens (XAYT) and XMG Prime Yield Tokens (XPYT) are now being added to HootDex, expanding the Digital Credit Note token ecosystem with two fully PNP16 and ERC‑20 compliant yield instruments.
Over the coming week, formal pricing will be initiated for each DCN, and until that process begins, there will be no active price discovery on the platform. Both yield tokens will distribute returns hourly, and all trading will occur strictly on an OTC basis, ensuring proper suitability and institutional‑grade handling. While secondary market opportunities may emerge away from HootDex over time, XAYT and XPYT will always retain the same smart‑contract data, functions, and treasury‑backed structure, regardless of where qualified counterparties choose to transact.
XMG Token Recalibration Notice (June 27, 2026)
XMG Tokens are undergoing a scheduled pricing recalibration today to support continuous 24/7/365 real‑time valuation across all XMG asset classes. During this maintenance window, from 10:30am to 12:30pm GMT, some dashboards and market feeds may temporarily display incorrect or incomplete pricing data.
This recalibration ensures that every XMG Token—USXM, UKXM, EUXM and others—remains fully synchronized with live composite pricing and DAT‑backed valuation at all times. All collateral, balances, and positions remain safe and unaffected.
CryptoPairs Renamed to Hybrid Tokens
HootDex is entering its next phase of institutional alignment with the transition from CryptoPairs to Hybrid Tokens, a naming evolution that reflects the platform’s growing sophistication and the expanding role these assets play across global markets. While the name is changing, the underlying structure, mechanics and on‑chain behavior of each asset remain exactly the same. Hybrid Tokens continue to deliver the same transparent, self‑custodied, smart‑contract‑driven exposure that traders rely on, now with terminology that better matches the expectations of institutional desks, structured‑product teams and cross‑asset analysts.
The shift to Hybrid Tokens is designed to more accurately describe what these instruments represent: a dual‑asset synthetic exposure that blends Bitcoin with a second asset such as a fiat currency, commodity or digital asset. The term “Hybrid” is widely used in institutional finance to describe cross‑asset structures, hybrid notes and multi‑factor derivatives, making it a natural fit for the products already trading on HootDex. This naming update brings the platform’s terminology in line with the language used by global trading desks, risk managers and portfolio strategists.
Importantly, nothing changes in how these tokens function. Hybrid Tokens still operate through the same decentralized CLOB architecture, the same transparent pricing logic and the same non‑custodial settlement model that defines HootDex. They remain fully on‑chain, fully self‑custodied and fully decentralized, with no intermediaries, no custodial risk and no operational changes for traders. The update is purely semantic, reflecting the platform’s evolution and its commitment to clarity, precision and institutional‑grade standards.
As HootDex continues to expand its global footprint, the move to Hybrid Tokens strengthens the platform’s positioning among professional traders, liquidity providers and institutions seeking transparent and high‑integrity digital market infrastructure. It also sets the stage for future cross‑asset products, deeper integrations and broader adoption across both traditional and digital markets.
The XMG Stablecoin Series
The XMG Stablecoin Series is a family of multi‑currency, issuer‑governed, ERC‑20 compatible stablecoins designed for real‑world payments, institutional settlement, remittance operations, and fintech‑scale financial architectures. Each stablecoin tracks the value of a major global currency through composite pricing and DAT‑anchored verification, while being backed by the multi‑asset Digital Asset Treasury rather than the underlying fiat currency.
Each token behaves as a stable, portable digital settlement asset across both Pecu Novus (PNP16) and ERC‑20 environments, offering predictable fees, instant settlement, and transparent on‑chain auditability.
USXM — The Flagship USD‑Pegged Stablecoin: USXM tracks the value of the U.S. Dollar through composite pricing and DAT‑anchored verification. It introduces a breakthrough architecture: issuer‑specific keys that allow multiple verified institutions to mint their own version of USXM while remaining fully fungible with the main USXM token—designed for real‑world financial operations rather than speculative trading.
The Stablecoin Series Includes:
USXM — USD‑pegged
EUXM — EUR‑pegged
UKXM — GBP‑pegged
CHXM — CHF‑pegged
CDXM — CAD‑pegged
JPXM — JPY‑pegged
MXXM — MXN‑pegged
Future Expansion — Additional currency‑pegged variants as global demand expands.
Issuer‑Key Architecture: The Core Innovation
Programmable Institutional Governance
The Stablecoin Series uses the same programmable issuer‑key model across all currency variants. This architecture gives institutions complete control over how their stablecoins circulate, settle, and interact with the global pool. This model applies equally to USXM, EUXM, UKXM, CHXM, CDXM, JPXM, MXXM, and all future variants.
Cryptographic Assignment
Each verified issuer receives a cryptographic issuer key, a unique on-chain identifier that tags their stablecoin supply natively.
Autonomous Minting
Issuers mint stablecoins directly for their specific user base, enterprise employees, or international customers.
Granular Segmentation
Each issuer’s stablecoins are easily identifiable on-chain, allowing them to enforce internal tracking and compliance rules.
Permissioned Fungibility
Issuer-direct tokens remain fully fungible with the global pool, but issuers control exactly when and how that fungibility activates.
Closed‑Loop & Permissioned Ecosystems
| Closed-Loop Use Case | Operational Execution |
|---|---|
| Controlled Settlement Corridors | Tokens circulate exclusively among approved participants to ensure secure, rapid international transfers. |
| Jurisdiction‑Specific Issuance | Enables compliance with localised regulatory requirements without affecting the global token pool. |
| Internal Treasury Flows | Optimises automated, transparent internal accounting and movement of funds between corporate entities. |
| Enterprise Payroll & Rewards | Supports seamless integration of stablecoins into corporate compensation and loyalty infrastructure. |
| Neobank & Fintech Wallets | Allows consumer-facing applications to manage their own closed-loop balances and ecosystem liquidity. |
| Selective Cross‑Issuer Partnerships | Issuers choose which other issuers they interact with, mirroring correspondent banking relationships but with on‑chain transparency and programmable rules. |
Fraud Prevention Through Architecture
Because each stablecoin carries issuer‑specific metadata, fraud detection and containment operate at a structural level:
- Source tracing: Every token is traceable to its originating issuer.
- Ecosystem containment: Suspicious activity can be isolated without affecting the global pool.
- Permissioned interaction: Issuers restrict which ecosystems they connect to.
- On-chain auditability: Every mint, transfer, and burn is permanently recorded.
No other stablecoin architecture offers this level of programmable control while maintaining full fungibility.
Payment-Optimised Design
The Stablecoin Series is engineered for real‑world payments, not speculative trading. It makes USXM and its currency siblings ideal for merchants, fintech platforms, remittance operators, and institutional settlement systems by prioritising:
- Predictable fees and instant settlement.
- Deterministic execution.
- Gasless transactions on HootDex (fees paid in the stablecoin itself).
- FIX API and Payment Portal API integration.
- Enterprise‑friendly accounting workflows.
Institutional, Remittance & Fintech Utility
Financial Institutions
Institutions gain a stablecoin with controlled ecosystem governance, selective interoperability, risk segmentation, programmable compliance, and new revenue pathways.
Remittance Operators
Operators can build proprietary settlement corridors using issuer‑direct USXM, EUXM for Euro corridors, MXXM for Latin America, and UKXM for GBP markets.
This reduces fees dramatically and eliminates global liquidity risk.
Fintech Companies
Fintechs can mint their own stablecoin lines under their issuer key for neobank wallets, merchant payouts, lending and credit platforms, loyalty systems, and automated treasury flows.
All without relying on a centralised stablecoin provider.
