HootDex is much more than a decentralized digital asset swapping system. There are many features in development that will increase the scalability and utilization of HootDex.
One of the features in development is the HootDex Digital Payment Portal. This is a scalable layer-2 system that is built on the Pecu Novus Blockchain which will complete transactions on-chain in microseconds with very minimal fees attached. The hope is to eventually bring it to a zero cost basis for merchants and consumers as it relates to digital payments.
The HootDex Payment Portal will allow merchants to directly connect with consumers without any third party involvement. It will provide transparency that would eradicate fraud for those using the system, fraud that you would see with traditional credit card systems.
The system would integrate traditional and new methods for e-commerce in order to provide swift and secure transactions across not only Web3 but also Web2 systems. It would allow for the use of Pecu Novus’ smart contracts to be integrated as well as the escrow system that the MegaHoot Vault enjoys.
Eventually it will integrate cross-chain solutions to further expand the utilization of HootDex across many systems. The HootDex innovation will create a vast layer-2 ecosystem that is functional, scalable, secure, swift and Peer to Peer.
