FanTokens Changing to Nexus Tokens
HootDex is evolving and the name of our engagement driven digital instruments is evolving with it. FanTokens will soon transition to Nexus Tokens, a change that reflects their true scale, purpose, and cross‑sector capability. As these tokens have grown beyond traditional fan engagement, the original name no longer represents what they are or how they are used across sports, entertainment, brands, non‑profits, events, and enterprise ecosystems.
Nexus Tokens retain everything users value, DAT backing, ERC‑20 portability, PNP16 architecture, and HootDex price discovery. The functionality remains exactly the same, but the name now aligns with the broader, universal role these tokens play as a connection point between organisations and their communities.
This update is seamless for all holders and issuers and marks the next step in the continued expansion of the HootDex ecosystem.
Update – Oct 04, 2026 – HootDex Maintenance Notice
HootDex members using the exchange via a web browser may experience temporary disruptions in service as we conduct critical upgrades across core exchange system. This does not impact institutions utilizing the FIX API. These upgrades are essential to ensure long‑term stability, enhanced performance, and improved platform security.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
An update will be posted once maintenance is fully completed and all services are operating normally.

Update – Sept 16, 2026 – EquiTrack Tokens Being Listed
HootDex is expanding again and this time we’re bringing synthetic equity exposure directly into the decentralized exchange. EquiTrack Tokens, the onchain synthetic representations of major global equities and ETF benchmarks, are officially rolling out on HootDex.
Update – Aug 11, 2026 – System Stress Test Update
During a recent system stress test, a glitch was identified in the Order Book Depth for a specific DBT token, which resulted in phantom data appearing within the test environment. It is important to note that this data did not originate from the Central Limit Order Book, the trading systems, or any live market feeds. The purpose of these periodic stress tests is to expose any anomalies or vulnerabilities before they can affect real‑time operations, ensuring that our members remain fully protected. This particular issue has already been isolated and addressed, and further testing continues to reinforce the stability and reliability of the entire ecosystem.
Update – Aug 10, 2026
MetaMask onboarding is now fully integrated into the Pecu Wallet, providing a simple and secure way for users to acquire PECU in order to swap for a range of Pecu Novus‑based assets on HootDex. This enhancement creates a frictionless entry point into the ecosystem and strengthens institutional scalability through seamless use of Pecu Wallet Access Keys. HootDex becomes easier to access, easier to trust, and easier to scale globally, with access keys working smoothly across connected trading platforms. Institutions can also integrate multiple keys within a single system, enabling convenient multi‑wallet trading.
Update – July 23, 2026
Following the Pecu Novus 3.0 Themis upgrades that has been rolling out in phases, which added ERC-20/EVM compliance on a Pecu Novus on a protocol level recently, there was a process of having all tokens created on the blockchain to be compliant as well, we are happy to say that as of today all tokens that have been minted via HootDex, that are trading on HootDex, are all ERC-20 compliant. This allows for portability across ERC-20 platforms that allow it.
Tokens Added – July 22, 2026
A series of yield bearing XMG Prime Yield Tokens "XPYT" and XMG Apex Yield Tokens "XAYT" have been added to HootDex for price discovery, they will be available on an OTC basis initially once all are priced out and made available for broader acquisition in the near future.
July 21, 2026 – HootDex FIX API
Upgrades to the HootDex FIX API will show the consumption of data from the Pecu Novus blockchain, treasuries, smart contact data and other important information for institutions and aggregators.
HootDex Update – 9 July 2026
HootDex is rolling out an upgrade to its treasury reporting system, ensuring every token on the platform displays transparent, on‑chain collateral backing through the Pecu Novus digital asset treasury. These improvements will appear across HootDex throughout the week as part of our commitment to clearer, verifiable token data.
XMG Prime & Apex Yield Tokens Being Added to HootDex (June 6, 2026)
A series of XMG Apex Yield Tokens (XAYT) and XMG Prime Yield Tokens (XPYT) are now being added to HootDex, expanding the Digital Credit Note token ecosystem with two fully PNP16 and ERC‑20 compliant yield instruments.
Over the coming week, formal pricing will be initiated for each DCN, and until that process begins, there will be no active price discovery on the platform. Both yield tokens will distribute returns hourly, and all trading will occur strictly on an OTC basis, ensuring proper suitability and institutional‑grade handling. While secondary market opportunities may emerge away from HootDex over time, XAYT and XPYT will always retain the same smart‑contract data, functions, and treasury‑backed structure, regardless of where qualified counterparties choose to transact.
HX-Core Powering the HootDex Exchange Network
Connecting Independent Market Infrastructure
The future of finance is not a collection of isolated exchanges competing for fragmented liquidity. The future is a connected market infrastructure where independent organisations can operate under their own brands while benefiting from shared trading, settlement, and liquidity networks. The HX-Core Exchange Network is designed to make that possible.
Built upon the settlement capabilities of the Pecu Novus blockchain and demonstrated through HootDex, the HX-Core powers the HootDex Exchange Network and enables approved participants to establish branded market operations, launch digital asset financial products, serve their own communities, and access institutional-grade exchange infrastructure without the complexity of building an exchange ecosystem from the ground up.
The Three Foundation Layers
Pecu Novus serves as the underlying blockchain settlement network, providing the foundation for asset issuance, transaction settlement, transparency, and interoperability across the HX-Core ecosystem. As a public blockchain network, Pecu Novus provides the settlement layer upon which digital asset financial markets can operate while maintaining network integrity and accessibility.
HX-Core is the standardised trading infrastructure that powers market operations throughout the network. HX-Core provides the core capabilities necessary for digital asset financial marketplaces, including: Order matching, Market infrastructure, Margin and risk management, Asset listing frameworks, Market creation capabilities, Liquidity connectivity, Trading APIs and Institutional access services. Rather than requiring each organisation to independently build exchange infrastructure, HX-Core provides a common framework that allows participants to focus on growth, innovation and customer acquisition.
HootDex serves as the flagship implementation of HX-Core. As the principal market operator within the ecosystem, HootDex demonstrates the capabilities of HX-Core while helping establish operational standards, liquidity frameworks, market structure practices and participant connectivity throughout the network. HootDex functions as an anchor venue that helps support the broader ecosystem through infrastructure, connectivity and market participation.
Pecu Novus settles transactions, HX-Core drives market execution, and HootDex anchors ecosystem liquidity.
A Network Model Rather Than a Software License
Traditional exchange technology providers typically sell software. After licensing the software, the customer remains responsible for: Building liquidity, Recruiting market makers, Establishing trading activity, Creating market participation, and Maintaining ecosystem growth.
The HX-Core powers the HootDex Exchange Network and takes a different approach. Approved participants may connect to an existing network of infrastructure, market participants and liquidity pathways rather than starting from zero. This significantly reduces the barriers associated with launching and operating digital financial products and marketplaces.
Connect directly to active order flow and shared liquidity instead of spending years building isolated liquidity silos.
Independent Brands
Network Members maintain control over their own:
• Brand identity
• Customer relationships
• Marketing initiatives
• Community development
• Product offerings
• Business strategy
Operate as an autonomous market operator with total authority over commercial strategies and client relationships.
Shared Infrastructure
At the same time, network members gain direct access to:
• HX-Core trading infrastructure
• Pecu Novus settlement capabilities
• Shared market connectivity
• Established liquidity pathways
• Institutional trading frameworks
• Network-wide operational standards
The result is a model that allows participants to remain independent while benefiting from participation in a broader market ecosystem.
Shared Liquidity Pathways
One of the greatest challenges facing any marketplace is liquidity. Without liquidity Markets become inefficient, Spreads widen, Trading activity declines and Participant growth becomes difficult.
The HX-Core Network is designed to support shared liquidity pathways across participating organisations. Rather than forcing every participant to independently bootstrap market activity, approved members may benefit from connectivity to a broader network of traders, liquidity providers, market makers, and institutions operating throughout the ecosystem.
This approach promotes: Improved market depth, Enhanced price discovery, Greater trading efficiency, Increased market accessibility, and Stronger network effects. As new participants join the network, they have the potential to strengthen the ecosystem for all participants.
Market Creation Opportunities
Approved participants may have the ability to establish specialised financial products and market categories within the ecosystem. Examples may include:
• HootDex: Multi-asset digital financial markets
• Venue A: Tokenised equities and ETFs
• Venue B: Commodities and precious metals
• Venue C: Private credit and structured instruments
• Venue D: Digital asset derivatives
• Venue E: Institutional OTC and block trading
These examples are markets that may exist currently or are scheduled to roll out in the near future. Each participant may focus on its own market expertise while leveraging common infrastructure and connectivity standards.
More Than an Exchange Network: The Vision
The HX-Core model is not built around creating hundreds of disconnected exchanges. It is designed to support the development of a broader digital financial ecosystem where issuers, traders, institutions, market makers, liquidity providers and technology firms can operate together through a standardised framework.
An asset manager, for example, may issue a financial instrument through an approved issuer relationship, appoint market makers, distribute the product through authorised parties and make the instrument available across participating venues. Over time, that same organisation may decide to establish its own specialised trading venue utilising HX-Core infrastructure while remaining connected to the broader ecosystem.
The HX-Core Exchange Network represents a new approach to market infrastructure. Instead of requiring every organisation to build an exchange, attract liquidity and establish market connectivity independently, HX-Core provides a framework through which approved participants can operate under their own brands while participating in a larger connected financial ecosystem.
Supported by the settlement capabilities of the Pecu Novus blockchain network and demonstrated through HootDex, the HX-Core Exchange Network seeks to enable a future where market infrastructure is standardised, participation is accessible and liquidity can move more efficiently throughout a growing network of interconnected financial marketplaces.
